Deluxe Suites measure 118 sq ft while the Royal Suites take up half a carriage (172 sq ft). Both types have a lounge area and en suite facilities, plus a writing desk, personal safe and refrigerated bar. Room service is available around the clock.
Meticulous planning goes into ensuring that all meals on board the ‘Pride of Africa’ are of the highest quality, as befits the splendid Victorian-style restaurant cars in which they are served. The chefs take great care to use local ingredients, and traditional dishes such as game are a speciality. Fine South African wines accompany the meals.
